5 minute walk to Te Papa the Great National museum of New Zealand. 20mins to the base of the Cable Car. Wharf area 5 minutes. About 20 restaurants and pubs within a 5 minute walk. The hotel was really comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was really good with a wide range of foods. Cereals, mueslis, yoghurt about 8 different spreads for the range of breads. Great coffee and fresh fruit available. Our unit had great facilities and we would definitely go there again. Airport bus close $10 each trip.

Great location. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was particularly quiet, although it only had a view of a brick wall, but we appreciated the silence and there was excellent lighting in the hotel much better than normal - so that made up for the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything required.

The continental breakfast provided for free was excellent, it saved us having to go to the supermarket. The staff were exceptional, very efficient, always willing to help, and always warm and welcoming. The room was fantastic for the price we paid, and we were impressed by the cleanliness of everything. The shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. was well stocked. We will definitely return to TRYP in the future :)

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The staff were so lovely. Our room was amazing. The bed was comfortable like sleeping in a marshmallow. The shower was sooooooo good, our bathroom even had laundry facilities which we didn't need but would be fab for people if they were staying for a long period of time. Our room had a small kitchenette. Loved the little extras like the chocolates, juice and water. Breakfast was continental and had everything you needed to start the day right. The cleanliness was impeccable and the leaning staff were friendly and said hello in the morning. In the centre of town also which is a bonus.

Plus: No single-use toiletries (a big plus). Complimentary (generous) chocolate bar, complimentary drink in the room. Beautiful and comfortable new room, fully equipped. Breakfast and checkout until 11 am (another big plus).

Firstly the staff were awesome and friendly, they also leave you be haha. The room was great, why? Bed COMFORTABLE! View right out into the city but also won't have peeping toms as it's not too close to tall buildings, complementary sweets and water was lovely. Also, no bond, they just hold onto you visa debit details in case of anything. The location is very central, as in any corner you turn, it is guaranteed to have something you need or want. New World around the corner, McDonalds a block away, restaurants, bars are at your doorstep with this hotel.

Stylish hotel and rooms, wonderful bed and bath. Fantastic location. Short walk to Lookout Mountain, movie theater, museum and all restaurants and shopping. Very attentive management and staff. Very comfy rooms with everything you need. Good quality simple breakfast, with coffees, muesli, different breads and juices.

Gorgeous room that was spotlessly clean and decorated/kitted out to a very high standard. Small kitchenette had everything we needed to cook. Washing machine and drier also in bathroom free of charge and with washing liquid too. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly allowing us to check in early following an overnight bus so we could rest. Breakfast was included and was simple but all we needed and tasty. Welcome package was delivered with drinks and snacks along with complementary te and coffee in the room too. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The only place I stayed in that had breakfast. There was also a day long bar where I could get juice, water, tea, and nespresso coffee, and felt very welcome by the staff. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable, the decor very updated, the lighting very easy to make romantic. I loved it all, had pretty much an amazing week there and I’ve no regrets. I got nice pricing using the booking app and would absolutely come back. I also got lovely wind down afternoon tea delivered to the room along with some sweets. I loved it.

Service was great. Room was nice. Photos did make it look better than it was, but having said that it was ok. The place was in a great location - near Te Papa etc.
